South Luangwa Flying Safaris (3 Days) -MTSM 8013

3 Days Fly Inn safari from Lilongwe to the South Luangwa NP. Stay at our eco friendly bushcamp overlooking the famous Luangwa River close to an busy wildlife crossing point.s

Day 1
15.15hrs - Afternoon flight from Lilongwe to Mfuwe, the gate way of the famous Luangwa Valley in Zambia.

will meet you at the Mfuwe airport and transfer you to our tented camp along the Luangwa River. Arrive at the camp in the late afternoon and spend time acclimatising to the African Bush while enjoying lunch at the camp.

17.00hrs - Take the opportunity to experience a night drive. This is a unique way to view the nocturnal activity of the park

Dinner will be served at the camp overlooking the Luangwa River. Relax over a drink before retiring for the evening.

Day 2
5.30hrs - Pre game drive breakfast.

6.00hrs - Early morning game drive, with our very experienced guide. Enjoy the sights of the Park before returning to camp for a well needed brunch.

11.30hrs – Brunch. Take a refreshing swim in the pool before entering the park once again.

15.30hrs – Afternoon/Night drive, or take the opportunity to join a game walk.

Dinner at the tented camp watching Elephant cross at dusk and listening to the sounds of the great outdoors

Day 3
Thursday return
07.00hrs - Breakfast at the tented camp.
08.00hrs - Transfer back to the Mfuwe Airport and stop on route at South Luangwa Textile Workshop to see the beautiful fabrics made by the local craftsmen and artists. Enter the workshop to see the artists at work and visit the delightful shop to purchase some of their unique goods. Flight back to Lilongwe.

Sunday return
08.30hrs - Breakfast at the tented camp.
11.00hrs - Transfer back to the Mfuwe Airport and stop on route at South Luangwa Textile Workshop to see the beautiful fabrics made by the local craftsmen and artists. Enter the workshop to see the artists at work and visit the delightful shop to purchase some of their unique goods. Flight back to Lilongwe.

Price includes:

  • Return flight from Lilongwe to Mfuwe Transfers from Mfuwe airport to the tented camp and back.
  • Dedicated and enthusiastic staff.
  • Accommodation in spacious East African step-in safari tents built on platforms (based on two people sharing).
  • Meals.
  • Game drives and night drives operated by ourselves
  • National Park entrance fees.

Price Excludes:

  • Airport taxes
  • Walking safari or combination. Please consult your driver/guide for availability. Price US $ 20,- per person,
  • minimum of 4 persons. Please make arrangements on the day of arrival in South Luangwa.
  • Entry Visas to Zambia.
