Malaika Suite
This is the room you'll see in our photo album--truly a spectacular room, with a huge marble bathroom, parquet floors, and a large private deck overlooking the grounds and pool. Malaika means "Angel", and this refers to the room's status within the House.

Victoria
This room features a claw-foot tub and a fireplace. It faces out onto the garden, and has a wrought-iron four-poster double bed...a great room for honeymooners!

Sahara
This room has a desert theme, and its earth tones and artifacts reflect the natural colors of North Africa and its people.

Makan
Makan is a Hindi name meaning "home"--this room was so named because it reflects the diversity of cultures found in Nairobi today. The headboard is draped with authentic Sari material from India. The room interconnects with the Kanini room next door, making it ideal for families.

Bustani
Bustani is Kiswahili for "garden"--and this room has direct access to the beautiful gardens (see the photo albums!).

Pwani
Pwani is Swahili for "coast", and this room is designed to give you a taste of island life in the heart of Nairobi. It faces the garden, has a small balcony, and double-height ceilings.

Kanini
Kanini means "small" in Meru, and with its twin beds is great for families--interconnecting with the Kanini room.

Safari
This rooms is so named for the animal prints decorating the walls. In Swahili, "safari" means journey, and has become synonymous with the Kenyan tourist experience, which must include game drives in Kenya's amazing wildlife parks.

Tembo
Tembo is the Swahili word for elephant. As you probably know, elephants were hunted mercilessly for their ivory in the latter part of the 20th century--this room pays tribute to this noble animal with its ivory, cream and brown tones.
