Day 1: Nairobi/Amboseli

Depart Nairobi in the morning for Amboseli National Park arriving Amboseli Serena Lodge in time for lunch. The park is famous for its big game and great scenic beauty whose entire landscape is dominated by Mt Kilimanjaro. Afternoon game drive.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2: Amboseli

Early morning pre-breakfast game drive at 6.30am, when you have the best chance to see Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure. Afternoon game drive.

All meals and overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge.

Day 3: Nairobi (Excursions)

Depart Amboseli in the morning with a game drive en route, and drive back to Nairobi arriving approx 13:00hrs. Lunch will be at The Carnivore Restaurant, followed by a walking safari at the entrance of Nairobi National Park – The Nairobi Safari Walk.

Proceed for a tour of the Giraffe Centre, a plus for the children who will get the chance to feed the giraffes, then drop off at Nairobi Safari Club for overnight stay on Bed & Breakfast.

Day 4: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the Kikuyu countryside to the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya – across the equator Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary, arriving Sweetwaters Tented Camp in time for lunch.
Afternoon game drive in the private reserve, including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only one of its kind in Kenya.

Return to Sweetwaters Tented Camp for dinner and overnight (with an optional night game drives).

Day 5: Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary

Another full day in the Reserve, with morning and afternoon game drive. You will also visit Morani the tame rhino and the Visitors Information Centre.

All meals and overnight at Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru

After breakfast drive down to the floor of the Rift Valley - to Lake Nakuru National Park, making a brief stop at Nyahururu Thomson Falls. Arrive Sarova Lion Hill Lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive in the park.
Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake.

Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha

Another morning game drive in Nakuru, then depart for Naivasha, arriving Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon boat ride on Lake Naivasha and a walking safari at Crescent Island, one of the few places in the world where one can wander on foot amidst wild animals - there are no predators.

Return to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Maasai Mara

Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara, arriving Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive as you get a feel of this vast game filled reserve.

Day 9: Maasai Mara

Full day in Maasai Mara, Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Maasai village.

All meals and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 10: Back to Nairobi/Out

Depart Maasai Mara after breakfast, driving back to Nairobi to arrive approx 1300hrs.
Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight to the next destination.
